Republic Design Policies

 

Cancellations

 

Orders placed and paid for by credit card but then cancelled prior to shipment are subject to a 6% cancellation fee to cover cost of credit card fees imposed on us as a merchant immediately upon ordering.  Cancellations made after an order has been processed are subject to the restocking fees as set forth below.

 

Return & Refund Policy

 

We attempt at all times to deliver quality items, and believe that you will be pleased with the items purchased form RepublicDesign.com.  However, from time-to-time, there may be a need for an exchange or return, and you may return any stock items that you purchased at RepublicDesign.com for either:  1) a full value exchange for another product or, 2) refund, subject to a 15% restocking fee for all items.  Either option you select, you must do so within 30 days from receipt of you item, and subject to the provisions below.

 

1)      To initiate any return, contact RepublicDesign.com at (800) 955-1861 or email us at mail@RepublicDesign.com.  Do not send the return prior to receiving instructions from us as to where to ship, as our products come from all over the country and many of our suppliers will not accept returns (we still do, even if they don’t).

 

2)      The cost of initial shipping and all return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer, and no refund will be made on the shipping cost portion of you order.  All returns in excess of $100 must be insured.  The cost of reshipping any item to you on exchange is also you responsibility.  No free shipping or exchanges.

 

3)      Items returned for either exchange or refund must be in their original condition and shipped back in their original packaging to qualify for the exchange.   Credits and refunds are issued only after returns are received in saleable condition.  In the event an item is retuned to us, because of it’s returned condition, must be repackaged for resale, a 25% restocking fee will be assessed.  In the event the returned item is no longer saleable, the item will be returned to you and no credit or exchange will be permitted unless you have informed the delivery company of delivery damages on the original arrival to you (see below).

 

 

Damaged Items

 

It is the customer’s sole responsibility to properly inspect items when received.  If damage to shipping material is obvious, please immediately inspect items and notify the UPS, Fed Ex, or other delivery persons of damages.  Notifications of damages must be made to us within 5 days of receipt of the damaged goods, and customers are responsible for notifying the delivery company of damages. Retain all shipping materials as they will be needed to show to the shipping company.  It is very important that you notify us immediately of any damages so we properly advise you.

Once the return item is received, a credit will be issued back to the buyer’s credit card or an exchange made in accordance to the terms above.

 

Payment Options

 

There are two ways to order product from us:

 

1)      We also accept PayPal and we will process your order as soon as the payment is received in our PayPal account.  Ordering online with RepublicDesign.com is fast, easy, and it’s 100% secure! 

 

2)      Simply call us at 1-800-955-1861 during normal business hours (8:00am-5:00pm EST, M-F) and place your order by using a credit card.

 

Shipping Rates

 

RepublicDesign.com does not have any “hidden” charges for our customers, and our shipping rates are posted immediately when you enter any item into your cart.  You’ll know exactly the charges before you even start the checkout process.  We have posted a chart below with all of the shipping charges.  We believe you have a right and we have the obligation not to waste your time holding back this vital information as many websites do!

 

All of us are aware that shipping is an expensive fact.  On almost every product we sell, RepublicDesign.com absorbs a portion of the actual cost of shipping.  The cost of boxes, packaging materials, labor for the task, and the actual shipping/freight almost always exceeds the amount we collect from you.

 

Our three carriers are the United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), and Federal Express (Fed Ex), we send the product through the carrier that has the best balance of delivery speed and delivery costs for your order.

 

Once your order is placed with us, actual delivery times will vary with different manufactures, so please allow reasonable time.   If you need a product quicker (gifts, ect.) email us and we will make an attempt to meet your needs.

 

Rates shown are for shipment within Continental USA.  Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii and US territories on most items require additional rates.
